About the Workshop

Intellectual Property rights are important to academic, research and any institution public or private conducting Research and Innovation to enhance their services to citizens. The course empowers the researcher or innovator on the basics of IP as an asset. The course covers various types of intellectual property rights including trade secrets, copyrights, trademarks, and patents. Topics include planning and registration, licensing, management, protection, enforcement, remedies, and governmental relationships. This course is designed for individuals with little or no intellectual property background.
